India Study Validates GBS’s MaxxCasting and ZoneCasting Performance

GeoBroadcast Solutions’ Geo Global unit is highlighting strong validation of its MaxxCasting and ZoneCasting technologies following an independent study by India’s Prasar Bharati at an All India Radio (AIR) FM station in Bengaluru. The study confirmed that both solutions enhance coverage and deliver a seamless listening experience across a Single Frequency Network (SFN).

Findings showed that MaxxCasting’s synchronized boosters enable smooth, uninterrupted transitions between signals, even in dense urban areas and challenging terrain, with no noticeable impact on audio quality. ZoneCasting also proved effective, delivering precise geographic content with minimal transition zones and consistent performance in field tests conducted on foot and in vehicles.

The report concluded that GBS’s global units’ technology claims were “fully substantiated,” reinforcing its readiness for broader deployment across India’s vast radio market. “This result reflects the work of an incomparable technical team,” said Chris Devine, CEO of GBS. “We’re also grateful for the continued support of our capital partners, who have helped make this possible.”
